Pawtucket Hype Basketball  
The RDEC Hype Basketball League was established in January 2004 in Pawtucket, RI.
 
The league provides a safe-haven & outlet for inner-city youth to participate in sports, while promoting unity, respect and a sense of belonging.  
We learn something new in every game.  The importance of the each summer/winter league is to teach the players to be more team-oriented, learn good sportsmanship and to get along with one another.  Everyone is somebody, and there's no big "I's" and little "U's."  Everyone has something to contribute to the game.
